2026 Hackett Park Artisan Fair

The Hackett Park Artisan Fair is an annual gathering of local and regional vendors. The Fair has been an annual tradition on the Coast for 38 years, and attracts close to 5000 visitors seeking to discover the creations of artisans who are jury selected based on craftsmanship, originality, and the unique items they have to offer for sale. The fair coincides with the popular annual Festival of the Written Arts.

Play Sechelt

Play Sechelt is a community forward project using visual art as a tool to create a more connected Sechelt.

Through lyrical written word, poetry is used by Play Sechelt to express the sentiments of compassion and empathy for one another. This community centered interactive project is beckoning a vibrant, healthier Sechelt. Where art tells the individual stories of our people making us all proud to be locals.

KIOSK: A Tiny Studio

Spring and Summer

A Tiny Studio provides artists access to 100 sq ft of space, generously donated by CLICK homes in 2024. Located on the scenic Persephone Beer Farm in Gibsons, during the spring and summer seasons, artists are provided with a monthly residency in exchange for weekly public engagement activities ranging from open studios, demo workshops, marketplaces, readings, screenings, and more.

A vital source for the artistic and cultural life of the Coast community

The Sunshine Coast Arts Council is a volunteer-based society founded on February 22,1966 to raise the profile of local artists and artisans and to broaden the opportunities for Sunshine Coast citizens to enjoy and to participate in cultural activities. The SC Arts Council maintains the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre located at Trail & Medusa in Sechelt, British Columbia.
