2026 Hackett Park Artisan Fair

August 15 - 16

An annual tradition on the Coast for 38 years gathering local and regional vendors and attracts close to 5000 visitors seeking to discover the creations of artisans who are jury selected based on craftsmanship, originality, and the unique items they have to offer for sale. The fair coincides with the popular annual Festival of the Written Arts.

We welcome proposals each year for exhibitions at the Arts Centre in Sechelt. The Arts Center includes three exhibition spaces - the Doris Crowston Gallery is comprised of two spaces, and a Project Room for digital practices. As we have limits for what we can display, we encourage you to visit the Arts Centre, or join one of our online information sessions, before submitting a proposal.

The Sunshine Coast Arts Council is a volunteer-based society founded on February 22,1966 to raise the profile of local artists and artisans and to broaden the opportunities for Sunshine Coast citizens to enjoy and to participate in cultural activities. The SC Arts Council maintains the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre located at Trail & Medusa in Sechelt, British Columbia.
