As a member, you are making an investment in the community and supporting the Sunshine Coast Arts Council’s efforts to promote, enhance and appreciate the arts through its many programs and exhibitions. To become a member of the Sunshine Coast Arts Council, you can download the printable form or use the following online form:

Community Use

Renting the Arts Centre

The Sunshine Coast Arts Council Arts Centre is available for rentals to community groups, collaborative partnerships or exchange of services as well as for public and private events. Our exhibitions, programs and events take priority access to facilities, but if we are not using the space, we welcome you to use our premiere facilities on selected days, evenings and weekends. Whether you are organizing a public or private event, conducting a workshop, or holding a meeting — our facility provides a beautiful and unique setting for your gathering. 

The Sunshine Coast Arts Centre

Built in 1979, the Arts Centre has two expansive and open gallery spaces with heritage construction, wood beams and a skylight. The gallery accommodates large functions and events with an artistic flair. Capacity is 50-80 depending on current exhibitions and the set-up of your event. All rentals include use of the kitchen. There is also a projector and screen, podium and microphone available at no additional cost.

Art Studio

  • Ticketed Events and/or Corporate Rate - $25/hour 

  • Free Events and/or Non-Profit/Artist Rate - $15/hour

  • Collaborative Partnership or Exchange of Services - Free of Charge

Multi-Use Studio

  • Ticketed Events and/or Corporate Rate - $25/hour 

  • Free Events and/or Non-Profit/Artist Rate - $15/hour
